Upskilling Tomorrow’s Workforce

MMTC focuses on upskilling tomorrow’s workforce through initiatives that modernize the “Earn While You Learn” model such as registered apprenticeship, internships, fellowships, and other ways to upskill and prepare diverse workers and professionals  for high-demand jobs. Our initiatives include:

  1. Apprenticeship Sub-Contract with the U.S. Dept of Labor and National Urban League to develop apprenticeships in the telecommunications sector
  2. Apprenticeship Contract with Skill Demand to develop apprenticeships in the energy sector
  3. MMTC Scholars Program (graduate and law students)
  4. MMTC Fellowship Program (professionals and occasionally third-year and LLM-program law students)
  5. Next Generation Laborers and Professionals
  6. Talent Gap and Jobs Board (matchmaking)

MMTC also created the Jumpstart Your Tech Career Guide and Jumpstart Your Tech Business Guide to support those who are looking to start or strengthen their careers and businesses in the tech industry.
