MEDIA OWNERSHIP by women and minorities!
MMTC is committed to facilitating and assisting women and minorities entering into media ownership
Media Companies and Owners of Media Assets:
Consider donation of your media and broadcast properties to MMTC for a non-profit tax write-off and MMTC will broker a sale or an LMA of the media property to qualified women and minorities helping them enter into media ownership! MMTC will also broker the SALE of your property, the MMTC brokerage was founded in 1997 to promote minority media ownership; since then, we have represented a variety of buyers and sellers – minorities and non-minorities. MMTC Brokerage has participated in transactions valued at over $1.8 billion. MMTC is a member of the National Association of Media Brokers.
Entrepreneurs and new entrant owners:
Consider your path to media ownership with MMTC! MMTC is committed to helping new entrants, minorities and women secure their first media properties. We also assist current entrepreneurs with increasing their media assets portfolio. We work with our partners to constructing a business plan, identifying properties and we submit offers for the purchase of the assets. If MMTC has a an asset to sell that’s been donated to our non-profit, we will accept and work with the potential buyers on the deal points and bring the acquisition to a successful close. MMTC will work with buyers of our donated properties to consider applications for Local Marketing Agreements (LMAs) where participants agree to run the operations, cover all costs and then later purchase the properties within three to five years. MMTC will also assist buyers to find incubation and LMA arrangements with other owners.
