On July 25, 2023, MMTC held its annual Former FCC Chairs’ Symposium that featured opening remarks from Congressman Steven Horsford (D-NV), Chair of Congressional Black Caucus.

Speakers included former FCC Chairs Richard Wiley and Mignon Clyburn; and former FCC Commissioner Jonathan Adelstein. They discussed universal broadband, 6G networks, artificial intelligence, Section 230, M&A policy, and minority media and telecom ownership. Former FCC Commissioner Deborah Taylor Tate moderated the panel discussion.
