Charter Communications will:
1) Offer free Spectrum broadband and Wi-Fi access for 60 days to households with K-12 and/or college students who do not already have a Spectrum broadband subscription at any service level up to 100 Mbps;
2) Waive installation fees for new student households;
3) Partner with school districts to ensure local communities are aware of these tools to help students learn remotely;
4) Continue to offer Spectrum Internet Assist, a low-cost broadband program delivering speeds of 30 Mbps, to eligible low-income households without school-aged children;
5) Open its Wi-Fi hotspots across our footprint for public use Spectrum does not have data caps or hidden fees;
6) Will notterminate service and will waive any late fees;
7) Donate airtime to run 1,000 COVID-19 public service announcement spots per week, including on all Spectrum News Networks, for four weeks to its full footprint of 16,000,000 video subscribers at an approximate value of $3,000,000 each week. To help ease the strain for families and teachers who still lack broadband, Charter will again offer free internet service for 60 days beginning September 21st.
