Earl W. Stafford is an American entrepreneur and philanthropist.  He is best known for “The People’s Inaugural Project,” which brought more than 300 disadvantaged and underserved individuals to Washington, DC for a three-day, deluxe celebration of President Barack Obama’s inauguration.  He is currently CEO of The Wentworth Group LLC, a Reston, VA private equity firm, and Chairman of The Stafford Foundation Inc., a non-profit organization he founded in 2002.  From 1988 to 2009 he was Chairman and CEO of Universal Systems & Technology Inc.  Stafford served in the United States Air Force from 1967 to 1987.
