Ari Q. Fitzgerald

Ari Fitzgerald is a partner in the communications group at Hogan & Hartson L.L.P. He specializes in domestic and international regulatory and transactional matters affecting wireless, wireline and broadcasting services and technology.

Prior to joining Hogan & Hartson, Ari served as legal advisor to the FCC’s former chairman, William Kennard, and as deputy chief of the FCC’s International Bureau. Prior to working at the FCC, Ari worked in the Office of Legal Counsel of the U.S. Department of Justice, and as legal counsel to former U.S. Senator Bill Bradley. Ari has been active in the FCBA for many years, and served during the past year as a Co-Chair of the FCBA’s International Telecommunications Practice Committee.

He currently serves on the boards of Crown Castle International, Mobile Future, Spectrum Bridge and the Minority Media & Telecommunications Council. Ari was mentioned as a top communications attorney in Washington DC Super Lawyers, Communications, 2008-2009.

Ari received his A.B., magna cum laude, from Harvard College and his law degree from Yale Law School.
